Each of these 3 programs focusses on visiting the best of our Glaciers, Rivers and Lakes. They are specifically made for those of you who would like to disconnect from the hectic world and fully immerge in the powerful and peaceful nature of Patagonia.
Through these programs and activities, you will get to know the many beautiful Patagonian nature spots in Puerto Guadal and its surroundings. 3 Nights/4 Days Program
Day 1. When travelling to El Mirador de Guadal by car and from the direction of Balmaceda or Coyhaique, visit the unique Marble Caves when passing through Puerto Tranquilo, a village that is located at about an hour drive from El Mirador de Guadal. Arrival at the lodge and check in.
Day 2. Hike to the nearby River Maqui, the Forgotten mine or alongside the coast of Lake General Carrera. Relax on your private terrace enjoying the spectacular view of the lake and mountains.
Day 3. Enjoy an amazing guided hike along the Maqui River. While following the course of the river downstream until reaching the lake General Carrera, we will pass through dense forests, beautiful meadows and exciting cliffs. The river, with its spectacular waterfalls, will always be at our side.
Day 4. Departure after breakfast.
5 Nights/6 Days Program
Day 1. Arrival at the lodge, check in and enjoy your first Pisco sour on the terrace of your room.
Day 2. Hike to the nearby River Maqui, the Forgotten mine or alongside the coast of Lake General Carrera. Relax on your private terrace enjoying the spectacular view of the lake and mountains or take a private yin yoga class on the dock of the lodge.
Day 3. Visit our famous National Park Patagonia and the impressive Baker and Neff River Confluencia or take an exciting horseback ride to Melinquina Glacier.
Day 4. Pay a morning visit to the spectacular Marble Caves and use the afternoon to drive into the nearby Exploradores Valley and visit the Exploradores Glacier.
Day 5. Enjoy one of the most beautiful and impressive hikes of Patagonia to the unique Puerto Guadal Fossil beds.
Day 6. Departure after breakfast.

Day 6. Horseback ride to the Maqui Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area. The horseback ride takes you through the hills until you finally reach the base of the main waterfall. Along the way you can explore the area and enjoy spectacular views.
Day 7. Explore the scenic mountain road to Chile Chico, enjoy impressive views, hike one of the lake beaches and drive into the Furioso or Las Horquetas Valley enjoying real gaucho country.
Day 8. Departure after breakfast.
