In 1997 we discovered for the first time ourselves the beauty and tranquility of the southern border of Lake General Carrera. A few years later we were lucky to be able to build up here our own lodge El Mirador de Guadal.
Now due to its privileged location, personalized service and spacious rooms, El Mirador de Guadal is the ideal lodge for you to discover the southern part of the Carretera Austral.
Famous natural resources like The Marble Caves, The Exploradores Valley, The Baker River and The Patagonia National Park in the Chacabuco Valley are all about an hour drive away.
Situated on the southern border of Lake General Carrera all our rooms have a unique view of the turquoise waters of the lake and the glaciers of the Northern Ice Field with Mount San Valentin in the background.
Being a small lodge we take pride in offering personalized attention, making your stay with us unforgettable.
Looking forward welcoming you,
Stefan and Carolina.
